Q. The marquee is more expensive than I had hoped for, is there anything that can be done?

A. Yes, we can re-cost on a different specification to suit a wide range of budgets until we find a layout and price that is right for you.

Q. How and when do I pay for the marquee?

A. You can pay by either cheque or BACS. We will issue three invoices. 25% will be invoiced on confirmation of the booking. A further 65% will be payable as we arrive on site to erect the marquee and the final 10% will be invoiced after the event which will also take into account any additions or removed items, as well as heater & generator fuel (if applicable)

Q. I have chosen cream carpet, will it get ruined in the run up to the event?

A. No, all our carpets are supplied new for each contract, and the lighter shades are supplied with a protective polythene cover, which is removed on the day of the event to keep the carpet in pristine condition.

Q. When will you arrive to put the marquee up?

A. This obviously depends on the size of the event, but we will always ring you in advance to let you know of our intended start date. Generally for larger events it would be towards the end of the week before, for all others it would be during the week of the event.

Q. When will you remove the marquee?

A. Generally, it would be the Monday after the event (assuming your event is on a Saturday) However, we sometimes leave it an extra day depending on access arrangements for other suppliers. We will make alternative arrangements should you require the marquee for further use.

Q .Will it be too hot or too cold in the marquee?

A. During cooler periods, we can arrange thermostatically controlled heaters, which sit outside the marquee & duct hot air inside and during warmer periods, we can arrange high velocity fans or air conditioning. However, during the summer months it is common to require neither.

Q. Can you supply all power requirements?

A. Yes, depending on the size of the job we can do one of three things: 1. Take power from a standard 240v supply. 2. Arrange for a registered electrician to install a mains distribution board 3. Provide a generator suitable for your requirements.

Q. Do I need to arrange insurance for the marquee?

A. We have public liability insurance up to £5,000,000.00. However, the insurance does not cover theft, vandalism or malicious damage. We can arrange such cover for you at a cost of 2.5% of the total quote value, with an excess of £350.00.

Q. What if I need assistance during the event?

A. We are on 24 hour call should you need to contact us in the event of an emergency, or for complete peace of mind we can provide a member of staff to be on ‘standby’ at your event for a nominal charge.
