Just a short note of thanks to you and all the Mahood team who worked so long and tirelessly to erect the series of marquees and pagodas to create the stunning effect that was achieved for Carrie and Paddy's wedding.

Your careful planning of the location with its aspect to the river complemented by all the excellent lighting and effects worked brilliantly. The specially built mirrored achieved everything Carrie desired and the night club I am sure contributed to there being nearly 90 people on the dance floor at 3:00 am.

Please ensure that all the team, particularly Kieran, Chris and Geraldine are thanked for their unstinting efforts in shipping many lorry loads of equipment in and out of the site with no significant damage. And finally a big thank you to you in person - the captain of the ship.

On behalf of the Royal Household Property Section, I would like to thank yourselves for the work Mahood Marquees carried out for our department in association with Paralympic Reception.

From the tendering stage, throughout the build and clearing from site, the work was handled with complete professionalism.

I would add that although this was your first Contract for The Royal Household, the "rules, regulations and protocol" associated with working in Buckingham Palace can be quite daunting but all your staff conducted themeselves in a polite and considerate manner which certainly contributed to the success the event was.

We shall look forward to inviting your company to tender for any work in the future.

On behalf of the Prince's Trust in the North West I would like to say a huge thank you for your support of the Eaton Park Gala Ball. Throughout the whole organisation of the event as well as on the evening you and your staff were extremely helpful and supportive.

We have been inundated with praise and warm wishes about the event but in paticular how fabulous the marquee looked so thank you for all your hard work and patience.

I am sure you will agree it was a magical event hosted by Their Graces, The Duke and Duchess of Westminster and in the rare presence of our President, HRH The Prince of Wales. I am delighted to report that the event was a fantastic success raising over £250'000 for The Prince's Trust which we supply couldn't have been done without your tremndous support.

The marquee was a vast improvement on the previous marquees we have had and not only did other colleagues mention this but so did customers. I cannot thank you and the Mahood team enough for everything that you did for us at Hodent Hall. It all came together perfectly and your guys did a first class job in getting everything done to schedule as well being more than helpful with endless requests.

I know that the Heber-Percy's were thrilled with it and it exceeded all their expectations. Sophie described the whole day as "magical" while Mrs Heber-Percy said that it was what she had dreamed of.

Everyone worked tirelessley around the clock to make sure that the job was a great success. The Hodnet team said to me more than once what a great group of guys you had working on the job, they were polite, professional, tidy, helpful and made speedy progress both puttin it up and pulling it down. I could hardly believe my eyes on Sunday to see so little of the dining and nightclub area.

Terry was a legend! I have never known a marquee guy like him. There was nothing that he couldn't and didn't do, from cleaning the doors, helping with techinical stuff, moving skips and putting tables up and in the right place. He was a real star and so patient with the endless requests that came his way.

Geraldine too, was fantastic. There were frequent phone calls requesting additional items and changing table quantities right up until a few days prior to the party and I am grateful for everything she so kindly organised.

It was a pleasure to work with you and I hope that 2009 brings more opportunities.

Just a personal note of thanks for a super marquee last week. We had a great week with so many happy clients I had to pinch myself to believe what we had achieved. Albeit helped by the beautiful setting and weather, the marquee looked excellent.

Also, thank you to all the team who did an excellent job. I hop we can work together again in the near future.

Duke of Lancaster's Regiment

I am writing on behalf of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment to express my considerable gratitude for your most generous support to the Regiment when Her Majesty the Queen presented new Colours to the three battalions of the Regiment on Thursday 26th June 2008.

Since we were formed on 1st July 2006 from three proud old regiments, there have been many milestones. However none have been as significant in terms of upholding regimental traditions as the acceptance of our new Colours from our Colonel-in-Chief. Her Majesty's part in the ceremony was particularly significant, because as Duke of Lancaster, the Queen is our first Colonel-in-Chief. It is also of note that the presentation of Colours to a regiment only occurs every 20 or so years, therefore it was a once in a generation event.

Your assistance to us regarding the provision of marquees, furnishings and the saluting dais during the event was very much appreciated and without your assistance, planning and advice the day may not have gone as smoothly as it did. I think I can speak for everyone who attended that we all has a very successful and enjoyable day and your contribution played a very significant part in helping is to achieve this.

Five Stars Appeal

On behalf of everyone at the Five Stars Appeal, a very big "thank you" for supplying us with such a fantastic marquee for Max and Ryan's Golfing event at the Belfry. It looked stunning and left a lasting impression.

The event was a huge success with lots of money being raised for the Appeal and the "icing on the cake" for most of the guests was the appearance of Mr Robbie Williams.

I understand you are now supplying the marquee for Barclays Bank for our big event at Radbroke Hall on the 8th July and I am sure Wendy will be in touch with you before then.

Richard, Grahame, Geraldine and all…..

Wow – truly the party I hoped for! Everything was perfect and I can not thank you and all the team enough for making it a stress free process. The marquee, décor, entrance and bar area were all fabulous. The connection to Rose and the Lightech team was really so helpful and so great to have a team that worked together so well.
I have loads of pictures that I will share as soon as I come back down to earth but THANK YOU all.
And Graham, special thank you to you but as a present to me for my 40th please make sure you don’t over do it now!
Invoice will be paid this afternoon, brochure from Event Solutions will be passed back to the team who are dismantling as we speak and your name will be highly recommended to any who ask.
Have had so many comments from people telling me it was the best party they had ever been to.
So thank you again and look forward to working you again at some point – Mum has asked for the same for her 70th next year!
